SALT SHAKER WEB APP
Problem :
Users are using web and apps for there cooking inspirations. People are turning to digital sources for recipes rather then more traditional means like recipe books. On the other hand finding recipes for different scenarios that work can be overwhelming, ingredients too expensive, and ingredients cant be sourced locally. There is a large number of recipe apps that do not meet the needs of their users.
Solution :
create a responsive web app that adheres to user’s needs. Saltshaker will give the user the ability to save, share, and watch video tutorials for recipes. With easy to follow instructions and alternatives to that recipe. The app will be easy to navigate with clear icons and information.
Challenge :
The main challenge lies in achieving the right balance between minimalism and visual interest. It is crucial to ensure that the web app does not appear too plain or empty, while still avoiding clutter.
The typography must complement the layout without overpowering it, and the chosen imagery must harmonize with Salt Shaker to create a cohesive look. Additionally, the design needs to remain effective and functional across various platform formats.
Summary :
Salt Shaker will bring back cohesiveness and functionality to the user while solving a real problem. The responsiveness between platforms will be sleek, while the layout will be clean, and minimal while holding enough information so the user has clarity when using the app.
